“We asked Susie to come in and do some coaching with our relatively newly formed Senior Management Team. It was part of our commitment to invest in personal development at every level within in our team.

The sessions focused on our individual leadership styles, and how they shaped the way we worked together. We addressed big questions around our personal motivations as leaders, our team culture, how we engage with our teams and how we achieved effective delivery.

It was invaluable time spent together as a leadership team. The most important outcome was learning about each other as individuals and understanding how that shaped our working dynamic. It was also really useful and empowering to work together to proactively craft a statement that defined our leadership culture.

Susie took the time to get to know our team and worked with us to develop a well-thought out, effective programme, specially designed to meet our requirements. She is hugely knowledgeable, professional, clever and astute. She provided reading collateral for the course, sign-posted further resources for us and was available for further conversations afterwards. RON'S STORY

“We invited Susie in to support us on a team development off-site for one of our global insurance broking teams.

The goal in our team development was for us all to develop greater understanding of our personality types and how these impact team dynamics so we can ultimately strengthen our working relationships.

Feedback from everyone who took part has been really positive. Many of them said that being introduced to theory around personality types has hugely helped them to better understand their own strengths and how they might benefit the team going forward - as well as areas where they can improve. It was great to see everyone respond to their profiles and discover themselves with a new perspective on their working styles.

Throughout the session, Susie was positive, open, engaging, relaxed, insightful and fun. She kept the energy up throughout the day and created a safe space where we all felt able to openly discuss team goals and structure. One person told me afterwards that they particularly appreciated the chance to hear more from individuals who they had not had time to work with closely before – and this was all made possible thanks to Susie’s welcoming and inclusive style.

As a team, we’re all appreciating the new insights the session has given us – and it’s already having a clear impact on our performance.”

JESSICA'S STORY

“Our directors wanted to give us some time and space to think about what we do well, what we care about and how we work together. They commissioned Susie to design a programme to do just that, and give us some other useful tools.

Susie's workshops have covered a range of topics, from ‘how to have a difficult conversation’ to ‘how to have a good day’ and everything in between. This has led to many useful and productive conversations which has helped us to understand what makes each individual in the company tick.

I am now much more aware of my natural strengths (i.e. being an extrovert helps my client skills) and the areas that I'm weaker (i.e. being a big picture person means my attention to detail is not as strong).

Now I understand more about the differences between myself and my colleagues I can see how useful it is to have a team with diverse strengths. This has given me confidence in my natural abilities and a better understanding of how they help me in my current role. It’s also given me insight into future roles that might suit me.

Susie is eloquent and engaging in her presentation style. She asks meaningful questions and provides insightful answers. She is very perceptive of situations, really getting to the root of challenges and helping overcome them. DAN'S STORY

“I found myself in a situation where my work did not satisfy me on a creative level, but I was unable to see a way to pivot from my current role to explore my options outside of the industry I was working in. I decided that working with a coach would help me form a plan to make a change.

The process began with a period of reflection. This was informed by personality assessments, input from friends and family and my own thoughts around my career so far, the skills I’d developed and my aspirations for the future. Susie then helped me process this information to build a clear picture of my unique offering which gave me confidence that the skills I’d developed could allow me to pursue new opportunities.

Before I started working with Susie, I hadn’t realised how strong my natural inclination to avoid change was and how I let negativity pervade my thinking. Susie’s approach is supportive but firm and she has amazing energy which helps build confidence in oneself. When my negative thoughts arose, Susie helped me realise it was becoming habit and I have taken measures to address this which has vastly improved my outlook and overall wellbeing.

Working with Susie has built my confidence and allowed me to acknowledge my strengths in a way that is more supportive of myself. I am now more relaxed that my career is a journey where I learn from my experiences and use them to feed the next steps I want to make.”

IVY'S STORY

“After several years pursuing a legal career, I slowly realised that the world of legal practice wasn't right for me. I decided to work with a career coach to help me figure out my next steps.

Through personality assessments and coaching sessions to explore my background, education and career, Susie helped me to develop a much better understanding of myself. I am now much more aware of what makes me tick, what kinds of environment I thrive in and what happens to me when I am under stress. This helped me to clearly identify what I was looking for - which led me to my current role as Operations and Marketing Manager at Lexoo, a legal tech startup that is creating a curated digital legal marketplace.

Susie asks great questions, and by exploring them in each session, I’m always left with a better understanding of myself and often a new and interesting perspective.
